Build It Magazine 1909 in-frame case study

14 Jun Build It Magazine – May 2018

As you can imagine we are thrilled to see one of our clients spectacular 1909 in-frame kitchen feature in the May 2018 Build It magazine. Warwick and Lynn Wilson were a pleasure to work with and their newly built home is absolutely stunning. We were over the moon that they picked us to help them design and fit their bespoke dream kitchen.

1909 In-Frame Kitchen

Mr and Mrs Wilson have chosen a 1909 in-frame kitchen, with a flint grey door as a statement colour and teamed it with alabaster to give it a more traditional and cosy feel.

When planning their home Warwick and Lynn Wilson wanted large rooms with high ceilings. It was important for them to keep the house looking traditional like their previous Victorian house. The 1909 kitchen fits in perfectly with this look, the extra height wall cupboards not only mean they have more storage space but it sits well in the large area that we had to work in.

Included in this stunning bespoke kitchen is a generous sized walk in pantry, this frees up a lot of cupboard space which meant they could opt for warming drawers in the island unit as well as deep pan drawers. The open plan living area includes this stunning kitchen and dining area and opens on to a large terrace that has breath taking views of the Village church.

The 1909 kitchen is designed in Britain and is a collection of beautiful shaker style kitchens. The in-frame kitchen is presented around two core door styles – a classic Shaker, which can be customised with 2 intricate beading options and a refined, contemporary slab door style.

Not only were Mr and Mrs Wilson a delight to work for but they respected each and every trades person that worked with them, as quoted in the magazine:

“It was a pleasure to employ experts who really cared about the finished quality of their work”
