Pale Smoke and Prussian Blue Kitchen fitted in Hertford

About This Project

Our clients were in the process of extending their home with Pacific Properties, with an extension to the rear of the property. Whilst the original kitchen was a John Lewis kitchen the layout did not work for the family. They wanted a more social open plan living area, a kitchen that they could cook comfortably in and one that they would be proud of.

We had the pleasure of designing and fitting our clients kitchen in their previous home, a white matt handleless kitchen which they loved however this time round they wanted their kitchen in keeping with their 1800 style home and a super stylish shaker kitchen was the perfect choice. The chosen door is a Burbidge Langton shaker a quintessentially English door with a modern feel about it.

The Kitchen Island is in a striking Prussian Blue, a rare and distinctive colour which looks fabulous against the Pale Smoke doors and with the quartz worktop. The Island is a perfect place for family and friends to come together, there is plenty of room for cooking and prepping meals at one end and a sociable seating area at the other end.

The beautiful bespoke breakfast cupboard near to the kitchen island looks striking inside and out, our designer has created it so it looks like it is a one off piece we have achieved this by including a feature framed end panel. When opening the doors you are not disappointed with internal lighting and natural Nebraska Oak shelving it truly is breath taking. This is the perfect place to store tinned goods but also a place to house your coffee maker, toaster and anything else that frees up your worktop space.

The attention to detail has not gone unnoticed in this kitchen, everything in it was chosen with much consideration including the antique bronze Didsbury d-handles and the antique bronze Didsbury knobs and of course the Quooker Fusion patinated brass boiling water tap looks fabulous against the Quartz worktop.
