What a pleasure it was visiting our client at their family home in Kelshall. As you drive along you are surrounded by Hertfordshire's beautiful countryside upon entering the little village of Kelshall it felt like a scene from Darling Buds of May, with a local duck pond, home made bunting and fresh eggs for sale; the sun was shining and it was the perfect setting.
And what a pleasure if was stepping into our clients traditional cottage style home, you are blown away when you turn the corner into their stunning contemporary kitchen. With Matt silver grey doors, trim handles and top of the range Neff appliances. Their previous kitchen was a traditional shaker style with standard height doors whilst it was a kitchen many people dream it did not work for the growing family, they needed more space and wanted to include full height units and a breakfast bar area with seating. They were able to achieve this by removing the units to the right of the kitchen.
Our clients had extended their beautiful home and wanted a kitchen that was suitable for the whole family. They have gained extra storage space by having full height units and adding units under the seating area.
At Kitchen Ergonomics we only believe in working with top quality brands, our clients have chosen Neff appliances including a Neff double oven with circotherm a Neff microwave oven and a Neff high warming drawer perfect for keeping plates, utensils and cooked meals warm. It can cook up to 80 degrees which is great for melting chocolate, or proving dough.
Inside this fabulous kitchen are also some clever hidden storage cabinets including the Hafele built in Ironfix which is an entire ironing board that is built into the drawer space. Another great way of keeping your kitchen clutter free from large accessories.
