Our clients had recently had a new extension to their home and wanted a dove grey kitchen that would compliment the open plan modern living space. There original kitchen had very limited storage so it was essential that the new design incorporated plenty of storage space. Our designer has been able to achieve this with full height wall units and has included cupboards on the kitchen island.
The kitchen island is perfect for the family of 4, there is plenty of room for them all to gather around if they want an informal dinner or if the children want to carry out there homework while there parents are prepping dinner. The island offers lots of extra worktop space which was also included in our clients brief and can seat up to 6 people. The brilliant white quartz worktop adds to the already contemporary looking design.
The extension allows a lot of natural light perfect for the open plan living space. Due to the sky lights in the ceiling it was advised to go for a ventilation hob that passes under the flooring. The built in Neff extractor is great at clearing odours as you cook, it comes with a 9 speed setting plus an intensive function. The cast iron vent cover is also dishwasher safe.
Upon the designer showing the clients there potential kitchen on ArtiCAD they were given a couple of options in regards to colours which ended in a mix and match combination with matt dove grey doors and character graphite as decorative panels and plinths, this gives this already stunning kitchen that added wow factor.
