We are thrilled to show off our clients stunning charcoal and chalk blue kitchen. The property is a listed building and our clients had decided to move their small existing kitchen space from the middle of their home to the back area which had a much larger area for them to cook and entertain in.
They were interested in a Shaker style kitchen and wanted a mix of two colours with the island being a darker colour. We discussed the different options available to them and chose a Mornington and Porter mix kitchen in the shades of chalk blue and charcoal. With high ceilings and bevelled walls this kitchen really is a show stopper.
Our clients originally wanted a granite worktop however they opted for a starlight white quartz worktop which complinted the darker tones in the kitchen. On the bespoke TV area they have chosen espresso oak and matched the beautiful floating shelves above the sink area and dressed them with their own personal accessories.
The chosen appliances for this kitchen are Neff and like all great kitchens now a days what is a kitchen without the good old Neff Slide and Hide oven. The Slide and Hide features in the Great British Bake Off and is very popular with many of our other clients. To create the perfect symmetry in the oven housing unit they have a Neff Compact oven with microwave and a warming drawer underneath. Above the combi oven is the Harmon Kardon Maestro kitchen, great for playing music and when entertaining guests.
The brief was to have integrated appliances, the Neff built in fridge and freezer look great in the tall cupboard housing and the dishwasher is located under the kitchen sink area.
The project and the clients were a delight to work with, the kitchen and the room itself is breath taking especially with the mural they have on the wall that is not allowed to be painted over, it looks truly spectacular in this kitchen and is a real conversation piece. This kitchen is perfect for the whole family who love to entertain and have big family meals together.
