1909 Shaker Kitchen, Boot Room and Utility Room

About This Project

We had the pleasure of not only designing this fabulous 1909 in-frame kitchen but our clients boot room and utility room.

The original brief was to replace the existing kitchen and create a classic kitchen in keeping with the family home however this time with more of a contemporary feel and plenty of storage. This beautiful 1909 shaker kitchen is an in-frame kitchen with slab doors, the chosen colour is Lava.  The 1909 slab door is a modern take on the traditional shaker style.

Our clients have replaced their Aga with a fabulous energy efficient Everhot range cooker which is a key focus point in the kitchen. They have added their own creative flair by mixing old with new and in the middle of the room is a rustic butchers block.

The beauty of our clients space are the different areas that our designer has been able to create bespoke pieces for. For example behind the dining table is a bespoke storage that is home to a slim line wine cooler and oak shelving perfect for the collection of tea pots. The dedicated drinks area looks fabulous with the Strata absolute marbled white and crystal grey quartz worktop.

Boot Room and Utility Room

The boot room and utility room are both in the style of Hunton and the colour chosen is chalk. Our designer has designed a beautiful bespoke seating area with an oak finish, the ideal place to remove those mucky boots. To the left of the bench are tall wall units and to the right is a bespoke built shelving unit perfect for storing shoes. The photos below show the amazing transformation :
