After coming across our website during lockdown our client had been looking at our kitchen ranges and were very impressed with 1909 kitchens. They had a home extension 15 years previously and had fitted a temporary kitchen from a different supplier that lasted longer than they expected, however 2021 was the time to change after spending many hours at home. The previous country style shaker kitchen had a peninsula area that our client wanted to lose, by doing so our kitchen designer was able to include a beautiful kitchen island. Removing the peninsula it has not only allowed for a kitchen island it has transformed the room entirely and become a more social space. Storm blue is the colour of the kitchen island which looks striking with the light quartz worktop and against the dove grey wall units.
We also had the pleasure of designing and fitting a walk in pantry which our client is absolutely thrilled with. Walk in pantries have been making a come back for a few years now and this one is divine, we have fitted the back wall with tongue and groove paneling keeping in style with the kitchen. Our client has styled the pantry beautifully and everything has a place, we love the labelled jars and wicker baskets it really is a showstopper.
