Our clients were referred to us by the Home Extension Team in Hitchin, they had been to a few other kitchen showrooms however after seeing the quality of our kitchens and being so impressed with our designers knowledge of the products and design they knew we were the ones for them.
Their beautiful family home originally had a traditional kitchen with a large range cooker and an intrusive fireplace which left little room for the family to cook and entertain in. The main reason for extending the family home was to brighten up the kitchen area allowing in more natural light. The previous kitchen was so dark it became quite suppressing; they felt it was time for a contemporary look and a bright kitchen. The chosen door is a Strada handleless door in a matt graphite and light grey, the Callacatta white quartz worktop looks fabulous against the graphite on the kitchen island an overhang has also been included which is ideal for seating. Sometimes its the little things that you don't see that add the wow factor to our kitchens, for example the sharks nose on the edging of the quartz worktop allows more room when opening the handleless drawers, and if you look closely it looks pretty spectacular.
Another little treasure is the anthracite style tandem dresser unit, this is ideal for gaining more storage and freeing up space on the worktop.
Like all high quality kitchens they need high quality appliances and Neff offers just that. In the tall bank of units there are two Neff Slide and Hide ovens which our clients are thrilled with. Not only does it mean you can get closer to your cooking it allows more space between the island and the ovens. There is also a 29cm Neff warming drawer which is ideal for proving, melting, defrosting and keeping cooked meals and your crockery warm.
