What a pleasure it was working with our St Albans clients and their fabulous Interior Designer Maria Chandler from Become Interiors
Our clients were in the process of renovating their home and had appointed Maria to help develop a design direction, this included helping with a choice of kitchen colours and finishes.
The design choice was to introduce a light colour scheme, creating a refreshing and inviting atmosphere. Maria had also incorporated a picture window in her design which looks absolutely beautiful. By placing a window seat under the kitchen window it allows you to take advantage of the natural light. We have also been able to create extra storage in and around the kitchen seat, it really is a showstopper and has created a cosy and inviting spot for enjoying meals, reading or simply taking in the stunning view of the garden.
White Quartz worktops were chosen to compliment the light blue kitchen cabinetry – the white quartz provides a clean, timeless and elegant look it looks great as a splashback behind the tap. Situated above the sink are rustic oak open shelves creating an open and airy feel, they have been beautifully accessorised by our clients.
All great kitchens deserve top of the range appliances and as ever we are delighted to supply and fit Neff including the Neff Slide and Hide oven as featured on The Great British Bake Off – the only oven with the disappearing door. Situated in the kitchen island is the Neff black glass venting hob – there are many benefits to an venting hob including a high extraction rate, reduced noise, easy clean filters and a power boost giving you an extra surge of heat when you need fast results.
