Ellerton Hartforth Blue and Porcelain Kitchen fitted in Ickleford, Hertfordshire

About This Project

What a pleasure it has been working with our clients to achieve this stunning handleless Hartforth Blue and Porcelain kitchen. The brief was to create a classic yet contemporary look which our designer has been able to achieve using the Ellerton door. The Ellerton is a modern twist on a shaker style door however with no handle you can achieve a contemporary look.

We love how the two tone palette has been combined, the Hartforth Blue is bold whilst the porcelain offers a more neutral colour together they are a match made in heaven.

One of the main briefs for this kitchen was to include a large kitchen island that allowed enough room for seating, a wine cooler and an open plan book shelf fitted by our skilled carpenter. The kitchen island looks striking in the Hartforth blue and is a real statement piece; with the kitchen sink situated in the middle it is the perfect place for prepping meals. The Quooker instant boiling water tap is also situated on the island, by installing a Quooker tap it is another way of saving more worktop space and of course no excuses for not making the perfect cup of tea.

In the tall bank of units there is room for two Neff Slide and Hide ovens the perfect combination for cooking large family meals. The free standing fridge freezer has been included in the large bank of units creating a feature piece around the fridge.

And if you ever wondered what it is like during a kitchen refurbishment please see the images below, please note this is not for the faint hearted 🙂
